Heart Attacks are fatal if not treated quick enough.
The symptoms of a Heart Attack are:
- Sharp pains on upper left arm
- Chest pain
- Shortness of breath
Call 911 right away. Give the victim aspirin, which will help with further blood clotting. At the hospital, the victim will start oxygen therapy.
Another fatal heart related emergency is Cardiac Arrest. The symptoms are:
- Sudden loss of consciousness
- Not breathing
- No pulse
- If the victim wakes up, it is not Cardiac Arrest.
Call 911 right away. Someone with Cardiac Arrest will need to be treated with a defibrillator.
